Ageas Federal Life Insurance Tops Industry in Individual Claim Settlement Ratio for FY2025–26

Ageas Federal Life Insurance has secured the highest Retail Individual Claim Settlement Ratio of 99.82% for FY2025–26 while ranking third in Group Claims with 99.96%. The achievement highlights the company's customer-first transformation, faster claim processing, transparent services, and growing trust among policyholders across India.

 

Ageas Federal Life Insurance has emerged as the industry leader in the Retail (Individual) Claim Settlement Ratio, achieving a claim settlement ratio of 99.82% for the financial year 2025–26, according to the latest public disclosures. The company also secured the third position in the Group Claims segment with an impressive claim settlement ratio of 99.96%, marking a significant milestone in its customer-focused transformation journey.

The achievement reflects the company's continued commitment to delivering an insurance experience built on customer-centricity, transparency, simplicity, and trust. Over the past year, Ageas Federal Life Insurance has undertaken a series of strategic initiatives to redesign its customer journey, with the claims process serving as one of the most critical touchpoints where its commitment to policyholders is demonstrated.

Demonstrating its operational efficiency, the insurer settled 96.11% of eligible claims within 30 days of receiving complete documentation, while 75% of eligible claims were settled within just seven days. To ensure a seamless and accessible claims experience, customers can register claims through multiple channels, including the company's website, email, partner bank branches, and Ageas Federal Life Insurance offices across the country.

The company's strong claims performance forms part of a broader transformation in customer experience. Ageas Federal Life Insurance has also been ranked among the Top 10 companies in customer experience in the Hansa Research Life Insurance CuES 2026 report. The recognition reflects the growing confidence and trust that policyholders place in the company's service standards and demonstrates that its transformation initiatives are delivering meaningful improvements where they matter most.
